Popis ulozenia kesky najdete v hinte, ktory je nizsie.
Pagan's Well, a popular camping site with a rain shelter, fire pits and picnic tables, can be found outside Hercegkút, by the marked Rákóczi hiking path.
From Hercegkút it is just an easy walk of approximately 1.5 km along the edge of vineyards, with a scenic ravine on the left side of the path surrounded by bushes.
The starting point is indicated by a sign at the main street of the vilage; the turn-off point is at the stone crucifix. From here there is an asphalt road until the end of the street; from where it is recommended to walk.
Pagan's Well and its surroundings are mentioned in the legends from the age of the Turkish occupation.
In 1892 a significant archeological find was explored here (pottery pieces, stone chisel, stone axe, flint chips). The found artifacts prove that the area was occupied by people since the paleolithic period. The most important archeological find was discovered by Elek Kiss, a college teacher, and his students.
At the rest area there is a board offering detailed information about the archeological importance of the area.
Since the GPS signals get weaker by the foliage, we are offering a more detailed description in order to help find the cache. Since many people visit the place in the summer, we decided to hide the cache farther away from the camping site, in a less conspicuous area.
The rest area is surrounded almost in a semicircle by a ravine. Facing the "Prayer of the Woods" board, cut across the clearing at the left. After approx. 70 meters you reach the bend of the ravine; you can climb down in it as there is no water at the bottom of the ravine. The cache is resting in a natural cavity formed by the roots of a tree, hidden by rocks.

P.S. Many people complained about the inconvenience caused by bugs and the vegetation in the sumer. Please consider the fact that this is a forest with its own natural fauna and flora. The mosquitoes and thorny plants were not placed here together with the cache by us. Please direct all complaints related to them to higher powers...
For avoiding any inconvenience the application of mosquito repellent and using suitable clothing is recommended!!!

Paganov pramen je vyhladavane miesto na kemping, kde najdete pristresky, ohniska a
piknikove stoly, ktore najdete pri Hercegkute, na znacenom Rakocziho turistickom
chodniku.
Z Hercegkutu je to prijemna prechadzka, priblizne 1.5km dlha, popri vinohradoch, s
nadhernymi uzlabinami popri chodniku, ktory prechadza nizkym porastom.
Zaciatocny bod cesty je oznaceny na hlavnej ceste v dedine, je to kamenny kriz.
Odtial vedie asfaltova cesta az na koniec ulice, odkial uz musis pokracovat peso.
Paganov pramen a jeho okolie s spomina v starej legende o tureckej okupacii.
V roku 1892 tu prebiehal archeologicky vyskum, pri ktorom sa nasli casti keramiky,
kamenne sekery, dlata a pazuriky. Najdene artefakty dokazuju, ze toto uzemie bolo
osidlene ludmi uz pocas paleolitu. Pod tieto vyznamne objavy sa podpisal hlavne
archeolog Elek Kiss (profesor) a jeho studenti.
Priamo na mieste je informacna tabula, ktora poskytuje detailne informacie o tomto
vyskume a jeho dolezitych objavoch.
Nakolko je na mieste dost slaby signal, presny popis ulozenie kesky je v hinte. Toto
miesto je navstevovane v hojnom pocte, najma vsak v lete. Preto je keska mimo
taboriska, na menej napadnom mieste.
Taborisko a jeho okolie je usposriadane takmer do polkruhu, v zlabe. Ked sa postavis
celom k "Posvatnemu miestu v lese", pokracuj cistinkou vlavo. Po priblizne 70m
prides ku koncu zlabu, mozes sa spustit dole, pokial v zlabe nie je voda. Keska ta
caka v prirodnej jaskyni, ktora je vytvorena korenmi stromu, prikryta kamenmi.
Prajem peknu prechadzku a prijemny oddych!

P.S. Niekto moze mat problem s faunou a florou v tejto oblasti, hlavne v lete. Preto
prosim pochopte, ze je to les so vsetkym, co k tomu patri, komarov a pichlave kriky
sme nepriniesli my spolu s keskou. Prosim, smerujte vsetky vase staznosti v tomto
ohlade na vyssiu moc....
