Lenti Zala megye délnyugati részében, a szlovén és a horvát határ közelében, az Őrség, a Göcsej és a Hetés néprajzi régió találkozási pontján fekszik. A város központjában, a középkori Szent György templom helyén áll a Szent Mihály római katolikus templom. A barokk stílusú templom a 17. század végén épült, freskóit Dorffmaister István mester készítette. Lenti és környéke természeti kincsekben gazdag terület. A túrázókat és a kalandvágyókat a város környékén számos kerékpáros- és túraút, valamint Lenti és Kistolmács között, Magyarország leghosszabb erdei kisvasútvonala várja. Az erdei kisvasút állomásépülete mellett áll a faipari- és vasúttörténeti múzeum, amelyben a Göcsej kincsei – erdő és fa című kiállítás látható. A térség idegenforgalmi vonzerejét a Lenti Termálpark és a Szent György Energiapark képezi, amelynek nátrium-hidrogénkarbonátos gyógyvize mozgásszervi problémák, ízületi, gerinc és keringési megbetegedések kezelésére alkalmas. Lenti leži na jugozahodnem delu županije Zala blizu meje s Slovenijo in Hrvaško, kjer se srečujejo tri področja: Őrség, Göcsej in Hetés. V središču mesta stoji rimokatoliška cerkev Sv. Mihaela, ki je bila zgrajena na mestu srednjeveške cerkve, posvečene Sv. Juriju. Zgrajena je bila konec 17. stoletja v baročnem slogu, freske pa so delo mojstra Istvána Dorffmaisterja. Lenti in njegova okolica sta bogata z naravnimi zakladi. Pohodnikom in avanturistom so za nepozabna doživetja na voljo kolesarske in sprehajalne poti ter najdaljša gozdna ozkotirna železniška proga na Madžarskem med Lentijem in Kistolmácsom. Poleg stavbe železniške postaje gozdne ozkotirne železniške stoji muzej lesne industrije in zgodovine železnice z razstavo, ki se imenuje „Zakladi Göcseja - gozd in les“. Turistična atrakcija regije sta termalni park Lenti in energetski park Szent György, v katerem je z natrijevim hidrogenkarbonatom bogata voda, primerna za težave z gibanjem, členki, hrbtenico in krvnim obtokom. Dolgoletno tradicijo imajo Kulturni dnevi Kerka, v katerih program sodijo številne prireditve, na katerih prireditelji predstavljajo proizvode regionalnih rokodelskih mojstrov in lokalne gastronomije.
Lenti is situated in the south-west part of the Zala County, close to the Slovenian and Croatian borders, where three different areas come together, i. e. Őrség, Göcsej and Hetés. A Roman Catholic church of Saint Michael built at the spot of the former medieval church of Saint George is located at the centre of the town. The church, which was built in the Baroque style at the end of the 17th century, features frescos by master painter István Dorffmaister. Lenti and its surrounding area are rich in natural sights. Hikers and explorers are offered unforgettable experience along cycling and hiking routes as well as the longest narrow gauge forest railway in Hungary, which connects Lenti and Kistolmács. There is a museum of wood industry and railway history, featuring the Treasures of Göcse – Forrest and Wood Production exhibition, located right next to the railway station along the narrow gauge railway. Tourist attractions of the region include the Lenti thermal park and the Szent György energy park with water rich in sodium hydrogen carbonate, which helps prevent difficulties in musculoskeletal movements as well as knuckles, spine and blood circulation. The long-term tradition of the Kerka Culture Days festival includes a number of events where organizers present their products in regional arts and crafts and local food.
