Geocache Description:

A small cache in an abandoned cemetery.

This cemetery is not even on the park maps, but it is on my National Geographic TOPO! map I printed out so we decided to come over and check it out. We saw the tell-tail "cemetery trees" as we approached. If it didn't say so on the map, you'd probably not realize this was ever a cemetery. There are some walnut trees planted nearby and one of them fell in love with one of the cemetery trees. Very cool to see this kind of cooperative growth between different species.The cache is a waterproof matchstick container that has been camoed. It is sign only and you need to bring your own pen. Please replace the cache carefully.Because this cemetery is not on the map any more, the trail is hard to locate. From the main trail, the trailhead to the cemetery is at N37 10.368 W121 50.469. Head up the hill a ways and then veer to the left around the hill.
