Las Dunas / The Dunes / die Dünen
Las Dunas de Maspalomas son un área grande de aproximadamente 4 kilómetros de quadrado en el sur de Gran Canaria que está cubierto principalmente por la arena de la playa (coral y conchas molidas) que fue transportada por el viento para acá sobre todo en la edad de hielo pasada. La arena todavía está en movimiento constante por el viento y las olas. Lo se puede reconocer junto a las dunas fijas a muchos cambiantes dunas de arena cómo las que hacen de hoz, las dunas longitudinales frente al mar o las dunas transversales.
Hasta la década de 1960, el área era considerablemente más grande y apenas fue utilizado. Con el inicio de la colonización de las regiones ultraperiféricas (Playa del Inglés, Campo de Golf), un montón de arena para la construcción se perdió y ahora aparecen aún firma y roca sedimentaria impermeable agua. Desde 1982, el paisaje está protegido y en 1994 la zona fue declarada por el derecho cómo una reserva natural especial. Así comenzaron las medidas para la conservación y regeneración de este paisaje único.
Cerca de las coordenadas hay un centro de información y un acceso oficial a las dunas.
The Dunas de Maspalomas include an approximately 4 km² large area in the South of Gran Canaria that is covered mainly by sand from the ocean (shredded coral and mussels) which has been mostly transported in the last ice age in here by wind. The sand is still in continuously moving by wind and waves. This can be seen from many shifting sand dunes that make longitudinal dunes at the oceanfront and transverse or sickle dunes further inside.
Up to the 1960s, the area was considerably larger and was hardly used. With the beginning of the peopling of the outermost regions (Playa del Inglés, Campo de Golf), lots of sand for buildings was lost and now even firm and water-impermeable sedimentary rock appears at some places. Since 1982, the landscape is protected and the area was declared as a nature reserve by law in 1994. Measures are initiated for the conservation and regeneration of this unique landscape
In the vicinity of coordinates, there is an information centre and an official access to the dunes.
Die Dunas de Maspalomas umfassen ein ca. 4km² großes Gebiet im Süden von Gran Canaria das vor allem von Sand aus dem Ozean (zerriebene Korallen und Muscheln) bedeckt ist, welcher überwiegend in der letzten Eiszeit durch Wind hierher transportiert wurde. Noch immer ist der Sand durch Wind und Wellen in stetiger Bewegung. Davon zeugen neben den festen Dünen viele Wanderdünen, die am Meer Längsdünen und weiter im innern Sichel- und Querdünen bilden.
Bis zu den 1960er Jahren war das Gebiet noch deutlich größer und wurde kaum genutzt. Mit dem Beginn der Besiedlung der Randgebiete (Playa del Ingles, Campo de Golf) ging viel Sand auch für das Bauen verloren und mittlerweile treten sogar unterliegende feste und wasserundurchlässige Sedimentgesteine zu Tage. Seit 1982 steht die Landschaft unter Naturschutz und 1994 wurde das Gebiet per Gesetz zum Naturreservat erklärt. Damit wurden Maßnahmen zur Erhaltung und Regenerierung dieser einzigartigen Landschaft eingeleitet.
In der Nähe der Koordinaten gibt es ein Informationszentrum und einen offiziellen Zugang zu den Dünen.
La Caché / The Cache / Der Cache
Cuando tuve la oportunidad de crear una caché virtual, pensé durante mucho tiempo en la mejor manera de utilizar esta oportunidad. Y eso es lo que salió:
- Gran Canaria no tiene ningún virtual - lo voy a cambiar ahora!
- Si estás visitando Gran Canaria, sin duda debes visitar estas dunas-es un magnífico espectáculo de la naturaleza que creó el viento y las olas aquí-las dunas de Maspalomas incluso llegó a la final en la elección de los mayores tesoros de España!
- Sólo una visita y una foto rápida y has terminado el virtual. Pero aquí también puedes ser creativo y con la ayuda de amigos, de parientes o de transeúntes puedes sacar una foto especial!
¡Espero que disfruten del lugar y de una tarea opcional! - ¡feliz cacería! 
Su tarea de registrar esta caché:
Saca una foto en las coordenadas especificadas con tu GPS o tu mano por la dirección de las dunas y del mar para demostrar tu visita.
Alternativo puedes sacar una foto panorámica por las dunas - con una cámara, smartphone,... no importa. Tú o un objeto reconocible como un utensilio de geocaché debe aparecer en esta foto varias veces - y de tal manera que no puede reconocer tu movimiento ("Panodash"). Entonces tienes que ir alrededor detrás del fotógrafo varias veces.

Los registros encontrados sin una foto correspondiente serán quitados después de un cierto período sin duda.
When I got the chance to create a virtual cache, I thought for a long time for a good opportunity. And that's what came out of it:
- Gran Canaria does not have a virtual cache so far - this will be changed now!
- If you are visiting Gran Canaria, you should definitely visit these dunes - it is a magnificent nature-spectacle created by wind and waves here - the Dunas de Maspalomas even made it into the final round voting for the greatest treasures of Spain in 2007!
- Just a visit and a quick photo are enough to log this Virtual cache. But you can become creative and have even more fun by making a special foto with the help of friends, relatives or passengers!

Your task to log this cache:
Make a foto at the given coordinates of your GPS or of your hand pointing towards the dunes and the ocean to verify your visit.
Alternatively you can make a panoramic foto at the dunes - with camera, smartphone,... no matter. You or an object recognizable as a geocaching-item shall appear on the panoramic foto svereal times but one should not recognize your movement for the multiple appearance ("Panodash"). So you have to go around the photographer several times in the back. How it might look like you can see below at the end of the cache description.
Found-logs without a correct photo will be deleted after a certain period without further notice.
Als ich die Gelegenheit bekam, einen Virtual Cache zu erstellen habe ich lange überlegt, wie diese Chance am besten zu nutzen ist. Und das ist dabei herausgekommen:
- Gran Canaria hat bisher keinen Virtual - das soll sich jetzt ändern!
- Wenn man Gran Canaria besucht, sollte man unbedingt diese Dünen besuchen - es ist ein grandioses Natur-Schauspiel, das Wind und Wellen hier geschaffen haben - die Dunas de Maspalomas haben es 2007 sogar in die Endrunde bei der Wahl der größten Kostbarkeiten Spaniens geschafft!
- Ein kurzer Besuch und ein schnelles Foto an den Koordinaten genügt für diesen Virtual. Allerdings kannst du auch kreativ werden und mit Hilfe von Freunden, Verwandten oder Passanten, ein besonderes Foto schießen!

Deine Aufgabe zum Loggen dieses Caches:
Mache an den angegebenen Koordinaten ein Bild von deinem GPS oder von deiner ausgestreckten Hand in Richtung Dünen und Meer als Nachweis für deinen Besuch.
Alternativ kannst du auch ein Panorama-Bild bei den Dünen machen - mit Kamera, Smartphone,... egal. Auf diesem Bild solltest du oder ein Geocaching-Utensil mehrmals zu sehen sein - und zwar so, dass man deine Bewegung dafür möglichst nicht erkennt ("Panodash"). Du musst also um den Fotografierenden gleich mehrmals hinten herum. Wie das aussehen könnte siehst du hier am unteren Ende des Listings.
Found-Logs ohne ein entsprechendes Foto werden nach einer gewissen Frist ohne Rückfrage gelöscht.
