Pirates of the Caribbean elokuvien sarja on Walt Disneyn tuotantoa ja sarjan kolmas elokuva julkaistiin vuonna 2007. Pääosaa eli merirosvokapteeni Jack Sparrowta sarjan kaikissa elokuvissa näyttelee Johnny Depp.
Jack Sparrow on joutunut vangiksi Maailman laidalle, eikä häntä pelasta edes kompassi, joka pohjoisen sijaan osoittaa siihen paikkaan, jonne mieli halajaa. Viimein Jackin ystävät pelastavat hänet ja syntyy raivokas purjelaivataistelu Mustan Helmen ja Lentävän hollantilaisen kesken. Kaiken keskelle vapautuu myös meren jumalatar Calypso....

The series of the”Pirates of the Caribbean” movies is a part of Walt Disney productions and the third movie was published in 2007. The leading role as pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in all these movies plays the actor Johnny Depp.
Jack Sparrow has been taken as a prisoner at World’s End. He can not save himself even with the compass which instead of the North guides to a place that the mind desires. Finally his friends save him and there arises a furious ship fight between the Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman. In the middle of this all the Ocean’s Queen Calypso is set free…
