Take I-25 and exit at N.M. state rd. 22, or N.M. state rd. 16 which
will take you to state rd. 22. From here you will travel north
towards cochite lake. Go past the lake staying on state rd. 22
(TURNS INTO CANON DEL NORTE) until you reach the entrance to the
"DIXON APPLE ORCHARD".
This is an
awsome canyon with nice views of the surrounding area. The cache is
a small container (LOG ONLY) which should not take to long to
find.(PLEASE PUT IT BACK THE WAY YOU FOUND IT AND BRING YOUR OWN
WRITING STICK). After you find the cache you can continue up forest
rd. 90 and check out the "DIXON APPLE ORCHARD". And if you continue
on this road (YOU WILL NEED A 4X4 OR JEEP), you will eventually end
up in "BLAND" N.M. ( AN OLD MINING TOWN). The town is hidden and
off the beaten path. For more information on bland N.M. just google
N.M. ghost towns.
