Beautiful area of Oregon but not many caches. This cache is placed in a spot that will give you a pretty good view of the area. A short hike from the parking waypoint will take you to the top of a small butte. Approximate elevation is 6180 ft.
We were out on a DeLorme Challenge run and passed many spots that screamed "Put a cache here!" but time was short and we passed them right by. We couldn't resist this spot. We placed this cache with snow on the ground, so if it's hot and dusty, maybe thinking of snow everywhere will cool you off.
