Geocache Description:

Take a break along Music Highway to find this ammo can located at a rest stop along I-40 Westbound between Nashville and Memphis.

Interstate 40 between Nashville and Memphis is known as "Music Highway"!

Nashville is known as the country music capital and is and has been home to many recording labels and artists. Home to the Country Music Association (CMA) Festival (formerly known as Fan Fair) held every year in June, the Grand Old Opry, Music Row, CMT, GAC, etc., Nashville has strong links to the development of country music.

Just down the road, Memphis is known to Beale Street, the "Home of the Blues", and Sun Studios, the "Birthplace of Rock and Roll". Elvis Presley lived, recorded and is buried in Memphis. Memphis's diverse music scene includes many soul artists that recorded here as well.

So as you are traveling the highway -- crank up the music and know that no matter what the genre of music you listen to, there is a connection to the Music Highway!!
