Inspired by Tove Jansson's last book about the Moomin
trolls
"Skogen var tung av regn och träden alldeles
orörliga.
Allting hade vissnat och dött men nere på marken
växte senhöstens hemliga trädgård med rasande
kraft rakt upp ur förmultningen, en främmande vegitation
av blanka svällande växter som inte hade någonting
med sommar att göra.
Det nakna blåbärsriset var gulgrönt och
tranbären mörka som blod. Undanskymda lavar och mossor
började växa, de växte som en stor mjuk matta tills
de ägde hela skogen.
Hösten har kommit till Mumindalen, men Muminfamiljen tycks
inte vara hemma.
Långt bortifrån kommer Snusmumriken vandrande tillbaka
till dalen där han tappat något mycket viktigt."

"The forest was showered by heavy rain and the trees were
immobile.
Everything was withered and dead but on the ground the late
autumn's secret garden was growing with enourmous power out of the
decomposion, a strange vegitation of glossy swelling plants that
were completely different to the ones in the summertime.
The naked bilberry sprigs were yellow/green and the cranberries
were dark as blood. Consealed lichens and moss started to grow, the
grew like a huge soft carpet until they owned the forest.
It's autumn in the Moominvalley, but the Moominfamily does not
appear to be at home.
From far away Snufkin comes hiking back to the valley where he lost
something very important."
