Geocache Description:

Have you ever wanted to make your own 'SWAG' to place in a geocache?  If so, this event is for you!

WHERE:  Graham Park in Cranberry

WHEN:  Saturday, July 1st

TIME:  Noon - 1:30pm

This is the second SWAG Makers event.  I am hoping to have more of these SWAG maker events each year to inspire geocachers to leave quality SWAG and signature items in caches..   You do not need to bring anything but yourself.  All supplies to make the SWAG items  will be supplied.  At this second event, we will be working on designing wooden cubes and also putting our artwork to smooth stones.  I will also have some leftover wooden coin/blanks for cachers to design.  So bring your ideas and come have some fun.   If children are coming, you may want to bring along a paint shirt.  I will not be supplying any food or drinks of any kind.  No dogs are permitted in Graham Park.  You will get ticketed if you bring a pet so leave your geopet at home.  Other activities to enjoy at Graham Park are bike riding, pirate playground, work-out stations, walking paths, and hanging out with other geocachers.  There are also a few geocaches within the park boundaries that you can find.

As an added bonus, if you attend this event you will receive a new souvenir.  See the desciption below:

Where in the world is Signal the Frog®? Canada!

As Signal continues to celebrate geocaching around the world, our favorite frog will be visiting Canada to cache like a Canadian and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

As part of the celebration, you can earn the Canada Day 2017 souvenir by hosting or attending an event on Saturday, July 1 or Sunday, July 2, 2017. We’re excited to join Canadians in celebrating their birthday this July, and we hope you’ll join us!
