After visiting the Fire Lookout Museum
(I highly recommend visiting!!!) I was able to research that Bloom
Peak really was a lookout like I had guessed! It was built in 1932,
and consisted of an L-4 cab, and was abandoned in 1943.
You will not regret trekking up here as the
views are fantastic too. I felt like one of the von Trapp family
members while walking the ridgeline back down to my car. The cache
is an ammo can filled with Cache Basher’s donated items
complimenting my own. Thanks! And don’t forget to visit
It's
93 Bloomin Miles to a Montana Beach! while up there.
