Winter friendly Magnetic Cache set in hard to reach area – please be careful in searching for this cache… High rating is for the last 10 feet of searching.
This area of Jackson County use to be a busy part of the Black River area – with a main thoroughfare running near one of the first saw mills set up in this area. The stream here is called Perry Creek, which historically had generated power for several different log mills throughout the past 120 years for this area. With its tall side banks, this little stream could hold a lot of water in order to run the large turn wheels of the old log mill saws. Today now, all that remains is a few crumbling foundations and this old bridge…
