In the Grove Traditional Geocache

You are looking for a custom-built cache that celebrates this historic congregation. Look for instructions on the cache itself to open it and reach the log. The top slides off and is attached to the base by a short chain. There are arrows that show which way to slide the top. There's room for swag and travel bugs. 

Founded in 1773 by Francis Asbury, the first Methodist bishop in America, the current building dates to 1888.  In 2013 a new grove of trees was planted in the cemetery to celebrate the 240^th anniversary and to replace the original grove of oaks that gave the church its name. 

The Grove Preschool offers classes during the week so please do not visit the playground at the right rear of the building when school is in session.
