Landstingshuset på Kungsholmen uppfördes 1817-1834 som Sveriges modernaste garnisonssjukhus (militärsjukhus). Gjutjärnsstaketet runt huset symboliserar kringsmaktens föreningen med medicinen. Se vapen och orm. Från 1951 togs även kvinnliga patienter emot. Idag sitter landstingspolitiker i huset och Landstingsfullmäktige hålls i byggnaden. Parken är öppen för allmänheten. Byggnaden har stort kulturhistoriskt värde.
The County Council House at Kungsholmen was built in 1817-1834 as Sweden's most modern garrison hospital (military hospital). The cast-iron fence around the houses symbolizes the association of the military power with medicine. See weapons and snakes. From 1951, female patient were also accepted. Today, county council politicians sit in the house and the County Council is held in the building. The park is open to the public. The building has great cultural-historical value.
