Geocache Description:

On our frequent travels between Maryborough and Ballarat we pass this location about 4k out of town. We see the wooden seat and wonder why anyone would put a seat here.

Today on our way back from an event in Ballarat we stopped to have a look around this area. When we walked a little into the bush we came across a fence and beyond the fence was what appears to be the remains of a dam. The "hole" was all concreted and there was a metal structure to one side. You could imagine a swimming pool having been there, Our suspicions are that it is the remnants of gold mining infrastructure.

We have done some research but have failed to come up with anything concrete.

The Cache

You are searching for a  hanging camouflaged bison tube. This is not on the fence line
