Located in Chiton Dene Park, this is the second Geocache we have hidden in the area.
The Royal Quays is an area of North Shields. It is on the site of former docks and contains the North Shields International Ferry Terminal. Since 1990 the area was re-branded Royal Quays and redeveloped with housing, a shopping centre and a water park. The area is centred on the former Albert Edward Dock which is now the Royal Quays marina.
The nearest Metro stations are Meadowell and Percy Main and there is lots of parking closeby.
The cache is hidden in a popular area so stealth may be required.
You are seaching for a small clip top container big enough to contain small swapables, geocoins etc.
You will not need to get wet to locate the cache but it is by water so care should be taken.
