Geocache Description:

10 years of geocaching

Hidden: 4/28/2001
Adopted: 10/24/2004
another King Boreas cache (566)

Located at the north edge of Checkerboard County Park, about an hour away from the Twin Cities. It's not a long walk, but there's a lot of underbrush - some of which is a little "pointy". Stop and enjoy the picnic area and swimming lake.

The cache contains a logsheet. It's located near a tree bordering the north edge of the park. There's an old wire fence behind the tree, marking the property boundary. Depending on the season, obstacles may include spring flooding, thorn bushes, and the first batch of ticks. Good luck!
