Log sheets are double-boxed in an approx. 1.2 litre screw-top container.
This cache is part of a series created with cycling in mind but, although it is ok up to this point and the next few caches going north, we cannot recommend cycling to all on much of the rest of the section (north of Bramley) unless you have very good mountain bikes and are adept cyclists. The trail gets more difficult as one progresses and is VERY difficult up closer to St Martha's where the Downs Link ends on the North Downs. Whatever you may decide, and from wherever you begin or end your caching journey, you will probably need to return along the same route or use 2 cars, leaving your second at another point somewhere along the trail.
We have created a Public List of all the caches in this series (including some set by other owners) along the Downs Link trail. We will add new caches to the list as they are created:) Downs Link Bookmark List
More general information about this series, including many recommended parking locations, can be found on Downs Link - Garden Centre? which is the first cache of the group heading north from West Grinstead Old Station, recognised as the midpoint of the Downs Link bridleway.
