The photo shows a historical terrain object ??? Ahhh, yes - there is surely a story behind how the safe lost it's door and finally was placed here... This is the actual strarting point of a standard white lamp reflective track that later will change to an UV-visible track.
För att logga finalen på detta reflexmärkta spår behöver du ha inte bara ficklampa utan också en UV-lampa. Det finns även en tvillingcache GC4VTKK "IRrcachen" men den har litet längre våglängd.
Generell förklaring optiska fenomen med flourecens:
UV - UltraViolett ljus. När ett UV-flourecerande material träffas av UV-ljus kommer det att återge ett ljussken med lägre frekvens / längre våglängd. I fallet UV så ligger UV-ljusets våglängd utanför det mäsnskliga ögats uppfattningsförmåga - vi kan inte se så korta vågor. Men när ett UV-flourecerande material belyses med dessa korta vågor kommer det att ge ett reflekterat svar på en längre våglängd.
Exakt samma sak händer med IR (InfraRött) som har våglängd längre än vad mänskliga ögat kan se. Man lyser med en våglängd längre än ögats uppfattningsförmåga på ett IR-flourucerande material och det ger då ett refleterat svar på en längre våglängd (som inte heller kan uppfattas av mänskligt öga).
Jo, som cachenamnet antyder så skall du söka upp ett kassaskåp som någon tjUV troligen dumpat. Vid detta numera kassa skåp skall du söka med vanligt vitt ficklampsljus efter ett reflexspår. Följ spåret. Där det slutar skall du söka en plastburk SMALL som innehåller vidare anvisningar hur du skall fortsätta. Om du har en kraftig UV-lampa blir fortsättningen lättare. Även totalt mörker vid användandet av UV-ljus kan underlätta.

General explanation of optical phenomena with flourecense :
UV - ultraviolet light. When a UV Fluorescent material struck by the UV light will reflect a light of lower frequency / longer wavelength. In the case of UV so is UV light wavelength outside the mäsnskliga eye to perceive - we can not see very short waves . But when a UV Fluorescent materials are illuminated with these short waves , it will provide a reflective response to a longer wavelength.
Exactly the same thing happens with IR ( infrared) which has wavelengths longer than the human eye can see. Shining light of a wavelength longer than the eye to perceive an IR flourucerande materials and it gives when a refleterat response to an even longer wavelength (also not perceived by the human eye ) .

Well, as the cache name suggests (Kassaskåp is a safe, and tjuv is a thief) , you should seek out a safe as some nasty thief probably dumped . At this dumped safe you must shine with white flashlight for a reflex track. Follow the track . Where it ends, you should seek out a plastic jar SMALL containing further instructions on how to proceed . If you have a strong UV lamp you'll find the continuing easier. Although total darkness with the use of UV light can facilitate.
