Kozlov
Kozlov lezi asi 1.5 km od obce Kozlany. Zde
doporucujeme zacit odlov. Hrad Kozlov byl postaven roku 1310 na
levem brehu reky Jihlavky.
Tyto hradky predstavovali protivahu proti
hradkum slechtickym umistenym na protejsim brehu. Vznikaji tak
dvojice hradu stojici velmi blizko u sebe. Ke hradku Kozlov je to
Holoubek stojici na protejsim brehu. Kozlov byl znicen za cesko -
pruskych valek v polovine 15. stoleti - od roku 1490 se uvadi jiz
jako pusty. Poslednimi majiteli byly Perstejnove.
K odlovu: dostat se na misto
nebude mozna tak jednoduche. Podle stavu vody se cache nachazi na
ostrove nebo polostrove. Pokud budete mit stesti a bude nizky stav
vody, cesta vede pres skalnaty hreben porostly rasami. Opravdu
klouze. Jeste predtim musite zdolat skalni rozsedlinu. Rozhodne
nedoporucujeme odlov v zime (pokud nejste milovnici adrenalinu), s
malymi detmi nebo na kole. Doufame, ze si pri odlovu uzijete hodne
zabavy. Lovu zdar!
Chovejte se k prirode ohleduplne, cache je uschovana tak, aby
nebylo nutne prekopavani terenu. Samotna cache je ulozena na
pomerne bezpecnem miste.

This cache will lead you to the place where once the Kozlov castle
stood.
You may find it about 1.5 km from the village of Kozlany. We
recommend you begin your hunt here.
The Kozlov castle was built in 1310 on the left
bank of the Jihlávka river. Due to the complicated terrain its
ground plan is very stretched. It belonged to a Benedictine
monastery. It was built to protect the border of the Benedictine
land against landed gentry that had settled on the right side of
the river. Kozlov was one of the little castles which maintained a
balance with gentry castles on the right bank. Due to this pressure
several twin castles arise – one on the left side and one on
the right side of the river. Kozlov was opposed by the Holoubek
castle. The Kozlov castle was destroyed in the Czech-Prussian wars
in the middle of the 15th century. Since 1490 it has been reported
to be abandoned. The last owner of this castle was the house of
Pernštejn.
Regarding the hunt: to get
there may not be easy. It depends on how much water there is in the
lake. The ruin of Kozlov stands on a penisula (if the water is low)
but sometimes it becomes a little island. First you must get
through a rocky gash. Then, if you are lucky, you may get to the
castle along a rocky ridge. Be careful! It is slippery! If you are
not lucky, you must swim (unless you have a helicopter). We do not
recommend going there in winter, unless you love adrenalin sports,
especially with small children or on the bike. We do hope you will
enjoy it. Good hunting!
Please, save the nature! Cache is hidden so that you
don’t need to dig and it is in a safe place.
