For my 10th trail I invite you on a journey around Dial Post and
Shipley
You will start at Dial Post then head towards Coolham and around
the site of a WW2 airfield. There are several memorials along the
North footpath, many of the names are Polish.
Then you will move onto Shipley to see the windmill used in the
filming of Johnathan Creek. This windmill was built in 1879 and is
open to the public on the first, second and third Sundays and Bank
Holidays from Easter to October
There are 3 caches by other people which you can also take in along
the route !
The Trail :-
The trail is quite flat, with a few styles. Only 1 short bit of
road walking. Some of the tracks might get a little muddy after
some rain.
