"ASTRONAUT, ROCKET, & TRAVEL BUG, OH MY!" FLASHMOB Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: Hi

Everyone has had time to log his/her attendance. If not, listing is not locked, which also goes if the CO wants to add some additional remarks. Archiving the event prevents it from appearing on pocket queries unnecessarily

Thanks

Geocache Description:

Geocaching is heading towards the International Space Station (ISS). All of geocaching? No, not all of it, but a very special little Travel Bug® named TB5JJN1 is tagging along with Nasa astronaut Rick Mastracchio on his mission to the ISS. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and geocaching. Mastraccio will Rocket into Space on November 7, 2013 (GMT). Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6 or 7, 2013 will be awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir.

We will have finger rockets for us to shoot off into the sky. We ordered 24 but if there's more "Will Attend" logs we will order more unless you wish to bring your own rocket (stomp rockets, alka-selzter rockets, baking soda & vinegar rockets, etc...) that would be awesome.

11:30 am - meet at the designated GZ.
11:35 am - sign log and get your rocket ready.
11:40 am - draw FTF honoree.
11:45 am - blast our rockets off into space!
11:46 am - photo op
11:50 am - We're done!
