Celebrating Groundspeaks 11th Annual CITO Weekend
SCGA style.
Its that time of year again but this time we didn't make the mess.
It is time for us to help Brevard County Parks and Rec out for
letting us place Geocaches in their parks all over the county.
Our mission for this event, if you choose to accept it, is as follows:
We will be cleaning up Nicol Park and its shoreline.
This 5 acre park is very popular with the families of PSJ for birthday
parties just about every weekend. Because it is usually windy out
here, lots of trash gets blown around here not only from the parties and the
passing cars on the roadway nearby but washed up from the river too.
Our CITO event will start at 4:00 pm and go until 5:00 pm.
Please bring gloves and grabbers if you want them. We will supply
some grabbers that will be provided by Keep Brevard Beautiful
as well as garbage bags.
Nicol Park is located on US Hwy 1 directly in front of Port St. John
across from the CVS. The park entrance/exit is on the Northbound lane.
Because of all the work to be done on this day, you will be rewarded with
a special souvenir if you log a CITO event anytime during this weekend.
