This cache honors Nancy Starck a lover of nature and Peter Pan was "young at heart."
Peter Pan's Sanctuary is located in Armstrong-Kelley Park which is privately owned but open to the public dawn to dusk. An officer of the Park has placed the birdhouse/geocache for you to find. Just off the gravel driveway, find the green where the flagpole is located. Then look for a sign that leads past the Franklin Tree (named in Honor of Benjamin Franklin.) Then "Take a Walk" up the hill past Liam's train and several fairy houses along the path. Soon you reach a level area and will see a grove of oaks, heath and heather, and our collection of rhododendron. This area was dedicated in 1997. Look for the green sign and the dedication to a volunteer named Nancy, who loved this little hollow. The cache is now nearby. The cache container is located on a tree where any child can find it, at eye-level, and a familiar woodland animal is nestled in the hole of the birdhouse.
