Well, it all started like this...

You just never know what you'll find when out and about looking for antiques or garage sales. 62CacheCrew was out one day looking for some old knick-knacks (and doing some geocaching of course) when we came across this old farmhouse that had several tables set up on the lawn. We got out of our 3/4 tonne caching vehicle and walked up to take a look. There wasn't anyone around except an old man with a straw hat on smoking a pipe.

"Hello!" we said. "Yello!" the old guy replied back to us. Followed by a pause he added "May an I are sellin everything and moving ta Floreeda!"

"That'll be nice! Where abouts? My parents go there often." I said as we started to browse around.

"Dunno rightly yet. May an I are sick of tha bugs."

We both laughed at that because we're pretty sick of them too. We were looking around, mostly at busted junk, when we saw this box of garden stones. Since we wanted to work on a nicer garden this year we figured these would be pretty cool to have.

"May an I bought those back in the day. Gimme five dollahs and their yors.

"Deal!" Since there really wasn't much else to look at, and carrying these rocks to the cache-mobile was a job and a half anyway, we paid the guy and loaded up.

"If ya want more, come on back soon, else May an I won't be here. Sellin' it all to move to Floreeda!"

"Thanks very much. Enjoy Florida!

And that was that. Our garden stones are quite nice. There was a sundial design carved in one, some plant leaves in a bunch of others, and one that just looked like a flat rock. It seems they had the wrong side down in the dirt. After we washed them off, the one we thought was just flat turned out to be something else entirely, although not sure what!

Maybe you can make it out?
