This cache is part of "PuckHound's 2013 Hockey Pool" traditional cache series, each representing a team that qualified for the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Following a lockout shortened 2012-13 NHL regular season in which they entered the playoffs as #2 seed in the East, the Montreal Canadiens lost their first round matchup with the Senators 4-1, much to the delight of Toronto Maple Leaf fans, at the time. For Leaf fans, this would be short-lived, as we all know what happened to them in Game 7 against Boston.
