Kågentunnelen i Skjervøy
Kågentunnelen er en skredsikringstunnel som ble bygd for å erstatte ei rasfarlig veistrekning på fylkesveg 866 mellom Flåten og Skognesbukta på Kågen. Tunnelen ble åpnet i 1991 er 1733 meter lang.
Navnet på tunnelen er et misfoster. Den burde ha hett Kågtunnelen, jfr. blant annet navnene Kågsundet, Kågtinden, Kågbukta, Kågbergan og Kågneset.
Cachen er en Lock&Lock-boks på 350 ml og inneholder opprinnelig loggbok, blyant og FTF-sertifikat.

Kågentunnelen was opened in 1991 and is 1733 m long. The tunnel replaced a danger of avalanches stretch of the road between Flåten and Skognesbukta on the island Kågen.
The cache is a Lock&Lock box at 350 ml and contains originally log book, pencil and FTF certificate.
Don't walk along the road, keep outside the railings!
