This is the ‘final’ cache for the
BFL Boot Camp IV – The
Hunt Four L.E.D. October event
First, you will need to visit the caches in
the BFL Boot Camp IV series, and obtain the codes from the
logbooks.
There are 5 code numbers, scattered among 10
geocaches placed for the event. These caches will be activated on
Oct 4, after the event has passed.
To find the start for the final, add all five codes together then
divide by 5000. This will give you a value, we will call
“F”
Take all the codes and reverse the digits for each code. Add these
numbers together then divide by 5000, which will give you a value,
we will call “G”
Add F to 27.4152. This is your north
coordinate.
Add G to 52.4276. This is your west coordinate.
N43 and W79 are assumed.
Once you have your co-ordinates calculated,
proceed here to start the final journey to the L.E.D.
October.
You will see some reflectors which will lead you to the cache. Be
careful to follow the correct reflectors!
- The Reflector Trail starts with 2 white reflectors
- The Reflector Trail ends with 2 brown reflectors
- If you encounter an orange reflector, there may be more than
one way to proceed - but there's only one route to the cache
- A pair that's an Orange and a White reflector is a dead
end
