From this spot on the trail you will have a great view of Whistlers Mountain. If you look carefully you will see the Jasper Tramway. At the top of the mountain which is called the alpine life zone there is a mixture of rocks, stunted trees and small delicate plants. This is the home for the camouflaged ptarmigan and the “ whistling “ marmot.
In accordance with Jasper National Park guidelines no trading items or things that might attract wildlife are to be left in this cache.
