BYOP - magnetic. I have the difficult rating based on the type of cache and not because of what it is hidden on. With the hint and some knowledge you can find this cache quickly and bolt back to your vehicle to hunt for your next smiley.
Welcome to down town Rural Retreat. This area is known as the town flats. In the early days, there were many buildings with thriving stores. The drug store that the famous Dr Pepper started his business was located just east of the caboose at the corner of main street and railroad avenue. Cabbage was the biggest export in the early days. The caboose NW 518634 is a C31P class, Cupola type caboose. It cost $17,921 at the time it was built in January 1970 by the International Railway Car Company in Kenton, Ohio. It's coupled length is 41' 8 3/4" and weighs in at 50, 500 pounds. It stayed in service until September 1991 when it was stored for scrap in Roanoke, Virginia. It was then saved and donated to the town of Rural Retreat in April 1992.
