This is the 16th in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Matthewgibbs, Sam539 and I have take it in turns to organise. This is an informal get together of geocachers to chat about all things caching and non-caching, and the fifth in the series that I have hosted.
The event will be at The Scarbrough Hotel, Bishopgate St, Leeds LS1 5DY from 18:30 to 20:30, but I'm sure a few people will stay longer than that. We're a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven't been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I'll look out for you. Hopefully we'll be obvious to find.
How to get there:
By train - Leeds railway station is about a 2 minute walk from the venue, when using the south entrance.
By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 20 minute walk away. Many busses also stop nearby on Neville Street, New Station Street and Infirmary Street, all of which are a short walk from the venue.
By car - There are a number of streets within 2 to 5 minutes walk of the venue to the south and west with free parking after 18:00 (David Street, Water Lane, Marshall Street, Manor Road to name a few). The closest multi storey is probably Trinity Leeds, which is £4.00 after 17:00 and around a 3 minute walk away.
The venue offers food (served until 21:00) and drink, including beers on tap. A menu can be found here.
