Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the end of a narrow peninsula deep in the Churchmans Marsh. It is a demanding cache for adults in reasonably good shape.

This is my first hide, I thought I’d better get around to it.-
-Not all my hides will be this intense, I promise!
This one just shook out as first…

No doubt about it, this one's going to take some work. It's about 5 miles round trip, depending on your choice of entry. There is enough high ground throughout the trip (mostly) to stay out of the mud- but unfortunately, the stickers like that too! Your choice.
Everything that floats collects back here…

I put some varied loot in the cache (ammo can), as well as some bug spray for the trip back.
Rehide well, there are fishermuggle visits from time to time.

Hiked this one on 3/22/05. The water’s higher now, more fun!

Yes, you can get there by boat. It actually makes for a pleasant trip!
