This cache brings you to Jackson's Salvation Army which is across the street from Jackson's historic train depot. You are looking for a well camo'd micro. Permission was received to place this cache, and parking is abundant.
On May 5, 1882 the first train whistle was heard in the city of Jackson. On that date, Jackson had only about a half dozen businesses and very few decent houses. One year later, the city had over 30 thriving businesses, more than a dozen large brick and stone storerooms, and two large warehouses. Thousands of feet of lumber and millions of shingles were shipped to Jackson and many large and beautiful houses were built. Some of these houses are still standing. This cache is located across the street from the old Jackson Train Depot.
