Geocache Description:

This is a four stage multi. Stage 1 is above coords. This is about as close as you can get to 407 & Bathurst and stop your car. It is a short drive to Stage 2 (0.8 km). From Stage 2, it can be done in under an hour (It took me 20 minutes round trip). However Stage 3 micro may require a little more time. Keeping to the side of the beaten paths, my feet were dry when I got back to the car. You will need a pencil & paper for the math.

In summertime, the grass and weeds grow quite high and you will find a need to bushwack. It may take a little bit longer unless you think out of the box.

Stage 2: At Stage 1, you are parked in front of a box on the lawn of a new home. Add the number on the box to the minutes of the Northings then subtract 2271. Subtract the number on the box from the Westings then add 2011. The result will take you to Stage 2. You will recognize Stage 2 as being the trailhead.

Stage 3: At Stage 2, note the YEAR on the cement walk where you are standing. Using your new coords, add the last two numbers to the Northings and subtract 40. Add the first three numbers to the Westings and add 62. The result will take you to Stage 3. Stage 3 is a small micro containing the bearing and distance to the final. On your way to Stage 3 there is a well worn path. You will likely pass a steep hill with a makeshift wooden ladder. Suggest you bypass that. A little further on is a more gradual descent. Recommmend you snap a waypoint after crossing the stream and climbing the far bank in case you can't find an easier way back. There is an easier way if you check the map.

Stage 4: At Stage 3, take a projection using True North at the bearing and distance found in the micro. This will take you to the final.

The final is a lock & lock 7"x4"x2" containing keychain recorder, skateboard, catering truck, red car and two hockey cards (Joe Thornton, Boston Bruins and Dany Heatley, Senators, and logbook.
