Jerome David "J. D." Salinger was an American author, best known
for his 1951 novel "The Catcher in the Rye", as well as his
reclusive nature. His last original published work was in 1965.
Salinger died of natural causes at the age of 91 on January 27,
2010, at his home in Cornish, New Hampshire.
Where in Winnipeg would be an appropriate hide location for a cache
dedicated to the author of this iconic American novel? You don't
know? Well, you'll have to go to the posted co-ordinates to see for
yourself.
I hope J. D. will forgive me for this stretch in logic. If you
figure out why I placed it here, please don't give the specifics in
your log.
The initial cache contents are 2 pencils, a sharpener, a log
book and FTF certificate. It's a small cache so there is a little
room for tradables and trackables
Logging
Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of
planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear
your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the
hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required.
Single word, acronym, blank or emoticon logs may be easier when you
have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other
finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding
the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
