The cosmopolitan Kanoni (means cannon) is a place with magical view and one of the most well know sights of Corfu. It is located on the homonym peninsula, that has beautiful seashores and beaches, South of the town of Corfu.
Kanoni offers a magical view towards the small island with the monastery of Vlaherena, with which it is united by an elevated strip of land, while in the background the legendary green rock, the Pontikonisi (mouse island).
There, the French Democratic' s had decided in 1798 to set up a battery, the legendary Kanoni (cannon) that dominates above the small square.
The cache is a small magnetic nano cache.
Το κοσμοπολίτικο Κανόνι είναι μια τοποθεσία με μαγευτική θέα και ένα από τα πιο γνωστά αξιοθέατα της Κέρκυρας. Βρίσκεται στην ομώνυμη χερσόνησο, που φιλοξενεί πανέμορφα ακρογιάλια και παραλίες, στα νότια της πόλης της Κέρκυρας.
Το Κανόνι προσφέρει μια μαγευτική θέα προς το νησάκι με το μοναστήρι της Βλαχέρνας, με οποίο ενώνεται με μια υπερυψωμένη λωρίδα γης, ενώ στο βάθος δεσπόζει ο θρυλικός καταπράσινος βράχος, το Ποντικονήσι.
Στο μέρος αυτό είχαν επιλέξει οι Γάλλοι δημοκρατικοί, το 1798, να στήσουν μια πυροβολαρχία, το θρυλικό Κανόνι που δεσπόζει πάνω από τη μικρή πλατεία.
Η κρύπτη είναι μια μαγνητική νανο-κρύπτη.
