East Stroudsburg Borough's purchase of this tract from the Weiss family enabled the extension of existing walking trails in the adjacent Zacharias Pond Park and the existing Gregory's Pond Park. Pretty trails with a variety of surfaces now crisscross the parks, giving area residents an opportunity to have a piece of the outdoors, right in their own backyard.
