Dewey Know Our Local Cache Owners, jmunch + fox51 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Trail Reader: With two DNFs by trusted catchers, it appears that this one has finally disappeared. Since distance doesn't allow replacement, archival is the only recourse. Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES.

I thought that it would be fun to combine the indoors of the library with the outdoors of geocaching. Welcome to my world!

The Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDC) was invented by Melvil Dewey. The DDC categorizes nonfiction books by subject matter into ten main divisions which are then further divided into ten subdivisions. The longer the Dewey number, the more specific the subject matter of the book. The DDC is the most widely used classification system in the world--found in libraries in over 100 countries and translated into over 30 languages.

This is the tenth in a series of eleven Dewey puzzles created to honor the cache owners of the Monterey Bay Area. Do we know these people personally? Probably not. However, we have come to know them by their hides--the type, the container, the placement, the difficulty, etc. For example, most cachers would agree that I have a fondness for rotting logs!

Geocaching is a give-and-take activity and we all depend on the time, energy, and creativity of cache owners to keep our sport alive. If you have not yet hidden a cache, please consider doing so. To those of you who have, thank you!

jmunch and fox51 are masters of disguise when it comes to cache design--equally well-versed in natural as well as man-made camouflage. When they aren't confounding us with containers, they are teasing us with puzzles, informing us of local history, or inviting us to test ourselves on extreme hikes or by diving beneath the sea. Their caches are all well-thought out and executed--adventures guaranteed!

In order to solve this puzzle, you do not need to know jmunch and fox 51. By simply using their hide titles, determine the correct coordinates for the cache by classifying each subject in the DDC.
