Dans le cadre du Mois de la forêt Boucher, venez nous aider à nettoyer la forêt Boucher le dimanche 24 septembre de 13h à 16h.
Cette année, nous nous concentrerons sur la zone nord est de la forêt Boucher. Il y a un moment que nous souhaitons publier une cache Earth pour cet endroit mais il est actuellement impossible de voir les fossiles en raison du verre cassé laissé sur le site depuis des années.
Stationnez-vous sur la rue Antoine-Boucher et suivez votre GPS vers les coordonnées de l’événement. Il y aura aussi des indications sur place pour vous aider à trouver le site.
Inscrivez-vous, le matériel est fourni! Le travail consistera principalement à ramasser du verre brisé et à démanteler des structures en bois.
Gardez les yeux ouverts pour la publication de géocaches dans cette région juste avant l’événement (incluant possiblement une cache Earth) car le « Cash in » est aussi amusant que le « Trash out »! Habillez-vous en fonction de la température avec des bons habits de travail, des bonnes chaussures et des gants. L’événement aura lieu beau temps mauvais temps!
La Fondation forêt Boucher fournira une petite collation aux participants.
À 16h, retour au point de départ avec vos déchets (si possible) pour une photo de groupe et le tirage d’un prix de participation!
Il y a du stationnement sur le chemin Antoine-Boucher mais assurez-vous de ne pas bloquer les stationnements des résidences.
Il y a au moins 16 caches dans la forêt Boucher, trouvez-les une fois la corvée terminée!
Come on out and help us clean up the Boucher Forest as part of the Boucher Forest Month on Sunday September 24th from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.
This year we are focusing on an area in the North East section of the Boucher Forest. We have been meaning to publish an Earth Cache for this location but at the moment you cannot see the fossils for the broken glass.
Park at the indicated location and follow your GPS to the event coordinates. There will also be some signs for muggle helpers.
Get signed in and receive your supplies. There will be a lot of sweeping up broken glass and dismanteling of wooden structures.
Keep your eyes peeled for geocaches posted in this region just before the event (including perhaps the earth cache), because "Cache In" is just as fun as "Trash Out"! Dress according to the weather, and with good working clothes, footwear and gloves. The clean up will be held on this day rain or shine!
The Boucher Forest Foundation will provide a light snack to all participants.
At 4:00 PM return to the posted coordinates with your trash (if possible) for the group photo and a free prize draw!
Plenty of parking along Chemin Antoine Boucher. Please do not block people's driveways.
There are at least sixteen caches to find in the Boucher Forest, once you are done helping with the clean up. TB exchange box will be near the log book for those who want to drop off or exchange trackables.
