U bent bij de Bron Garroferet. Eén van de vele bronnen in deze omgeving met bergen. Hij wordt gebruikt voor drinkwater, maar ook voor de irrigatie van de omgeving. Hiervoor wordt het water van punt 6 op de kaart richting Altea la Vella geleid en om het oude centrum heen tot aan voorbij punt 1 op de kaart.
De bron is een mooi rustig plekje waar je de auto kunt parkeren en even kunt rusten.

You are at the Source Garroferet, one of the many sources of water in this area with mountains. They used to extract the drinking water with pitchers and transported it using donkeys. The water is still drinkable. It is also used for the irrigation of the area. A canal transports the water from here to the old centre of Altea La Vella. The map displays several locations it passes.
The source is a nice quiet place where you can park your car and rest for a while.
