River Ayr Walk and it's connnected network of paths runs alongside the River Ayr from it's source at Glenbuck until it reaches the sea at Ayr a distance of around 42 miles
This section of the walk covers the area between Ballochmyle, near Mauchline, to Sorn further east
The cache is located on a section of the walk just north west of Catrine village.The path takes you out of the natural woodland valley onto the riverside walk alongside fields. Take your time to enjoy the sights and sounds as it winds through the Ayrshire countryside. The container is a very small box, with only room for the log, so you will need a pen or a pencil for signing the log.
