Geocache Description:

Fall is in the air and we're ready to camp! Join us at Mistletoe State Park the weekend of September 17th. Some camping geocachers will be arriving on the 16th to take full advantage of all the activities being planned for this weekend and to discover this unique state park.

This park is known as one of the finest bass fishing spots in the nation! Boat ramps provide easy access to one of the Southeast’s largest lakes.

Schedule of Activities:
5:00pm - Join us with your game pieces you've collected today to play scrabble.
6:30pm - GG-C's famous 'Stone Soup'! All you need is a food item (canned food is preferred) to add to the cooking pot over the fire and share dinner with us)
7:30pm - Bonfire (we supply the s'mores)
8:00pm - Prizes/Activities - including the Jackpot Camper Drawing (bring un activated trackables to participate)

--->You're not obligated to camp out with our group to attend this event. Just show up to have 'around the camp fire' fun!<---

GROUP CAMP INFO:
$25 per tent for two days camping (Friday and Saturday). Parking is available nearby. This is primitive style camping with no electricity. Please pack accordingly. There is running water and a pit privy at the site. Hammock campers: Plenty of trees but bring your stands/tripods just in case you need them.

NOTE:
Please log a 'Will Attend' letting us know how many are attending. If you would like to camp with us, (included with your will attend note), - "one camp please" = your camp site reserved. Or you can email via our profile to let us know if you want to camp in our group or if you have any questions.

*PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE PARK!* We have the camp area reserved and we'll collect the camping fees on site.

Want to bring your camper and have full hook up? See the 'related link' at the top of the page for more camping information that is offered within the park and how to make those reservations.

Free wi-fi service is available at Visitor Center. You can log your geocache finds!

If you take pictures of your camping experience, don't forget to post them with your "attended" log.

There is a $5 gate fee if you don't have a annual park pass to enter any State Park. See our profile page for information about us and for the 2016 dates and camping locations. Like us on Georgia Geo-Campers facebook page.
