Geocache Description:

Fairly steep hill. Bike trail accessable. I believe you can find all the caches in Side Cut Park and this one by connected trails. Put on your hiking boots. New coords. on 4-4-05.
Cache is a large 8 in. tube.

The Battle of Fallen Timbers was pivotal in the settling of Ohio and areas west. Ohio was actually considered the Northwest Territory in the 1700's. This monument and nearby plaques tell the story of General "Mad" Anthony Wayne and his battle with the British and their Indian allies lead by Chief Little Turtle.

The coordinates will take you to the base of the monument where you can see out over the plain where the battle was fought. What was the year of the battle____________? Total these four digits and add this number to the Latitude in ( ).

Next, find the plaque that lists the number of dead and wounded in Wayne's force. How many were wounded_________?
Add that number to the longitude in ( ) to get the coordinates to the actual cache.
