Voyageur Trek Multi-cache

A few years back, prior to the geocache saturation we have today, a multi-cache was considered to be a fun challenge. Nowadays, a lot of cachers ignore multi-caches completely because they are considered to be too time-consuming. Well, here is a rather modest multi-cache that should be straightforward and easy. This would be a good introduction to multi-caches for anyone that is new to geocaching.

Make your way to the posted coordinates for a brief history lesson on the Jensen Lake area of Lebanon Hills Regional Park. Here you will find 3 aerial photographs of the lake. Use that information to determine the final coordinates as follows:

What year was the first aerial photograph taken (the one on the left)? Call that number A.

What year was the most recent aerial photograph taken (the one on the right)? Call that number B.

XXX = 2725 - A

YYY = 2569 - B

Final coordinates = N 44 46.XXX W 093 09.YYY

Take the stairs and enjoy a nice scenic walk along the lake trail to the final cache location. Kids should find this to be an enjoyable cache - the terrain is easy, the scenery is beautiful and, if you're lucky, you'll see some wildlife along the way. In addition, there is an awesome playground next to the parking lot.

Please carefully replace the cache container as well or better than you found it.
