Geocache Description:

Everyday, all over the world, firefighters put their lives on the line to make our cities and states a safer place. All nationalities - White, Black, Hispanics, male or female goes deep into the heat. This 4-section memorial commemorates Houston Firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the line of duty. May God bless their souls. First part is the statue of a firefighter carrying a child down a ladder and handing off to another firefighter. Second section is the wall behind the statue that lists retired Houston firefighters (or were still with the fire department) who has passed away. Third section is the 60-70 bench type headstones or memorials that organizations have purchased to honor the firefighters - be it family members, two/three generations of firefighters, members of a training class, different stations who wish to honor their fellow station members, families who wish to honor the Hispanic members, and so forth. Fourth section are the stepping stones that individual can purchase to honor those they wish to honor for a lower cost. Pictures are welcome To confirm your find, just give me your impressions in the log
