Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Jindera Cemetery located just a short drive from the centre of town.

This is 1 of 3 beautiful cemeteries situated in the small township of Jindera just 16kms out of Albury, with a population of just over 1000 people.

*************************

At the rear of this cemetery you will notice a "Crypt" or "Buriel Vault" with the family name "Wagner".

A crypt is most often a stone chambered buriel vault used to store the deceased.

Crypts are usually found in cemetries & under public religious buildings, such as churches or cathedrals.

Wealthy or prestigious families will often have a 'family crypt' or 'vault' in which all members of the family are interred.

*************************

As you take a wander through the area you will notice some of the graves that date back to the 1870's.

**************************

The cache you are searching for is a micro. Please replace as found.

**************************

We hope you enjoy the history this place holds and your wander through the area.

***Please watch out for snakes in the warmer months.***
