A Cache for Scott #3 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

OzarksJim: I saw the previous log was a DNF so I checked on this cache today and confirmed it's gone, at least as far as I can tell. Archiving.

Geocache Description:

Here's another cache located along the Frisco Highline Trail that is intended to help my buddy Scott (phenixcacher) reach his 3000th find!

The trail is only open during daylight hours.

Every time phenixcacher gets close to reaching a 1000th milestone, I try to put a cache out intentionally to help him reach that milestone. So, this is the third one in the series.

You can park at the parking coordinates provided on this cache listing. It will be a little bit of a hike to ground zero (about a quarter of a mile, I believe).

When you get close to GZ, you will realize that you WILL need to go down a slope to get to the cache. However, the slope isn't very steep and I didn't have any problems navigating down it. The cache is in the woods so watch out for the usual hazards.

The hiding spot should be very obvious to anyone with a trained geo-eye, but be careful where you stick your hands. The coordinates are accurate down to 2.3 feet.

Please replace the logbook and cache back exactly as you found them.

Good luck and have fun!
