Archimedes' principle - SCAR08 Traditional Geocache

The terrain for this cache is a bit much for small kids plus it is near the river. You may encounter mud near this cache so take that into account when choosing footwear and step carefully. For the most part you can follow game trails to this cache with some minor bushwacking towards the end. Watch out for all the pokeys near the cache - gloves might be good.

Please be careful with the cache container. If you can't figure out how to access the cache, you will find something to help you just to the south of the cache. The cache has small items for trading and a log rolled around the pencil. Please make sure when you are done with the cache you leave it EXACTLY how you found it. We ask that you do not attempt this cache in the dark. The terrain is difficult and the cache is not a good one to try when you can't see. The cache is not winter accessible. As always there may be muggles around - you just never know ;) We forgot to leave the FTF prize in the cache so we will give it to the FTF at the Gathering for SCAR.
