Geocaching is now a requirement for Cub Scouts! Also, the Boy Scouts have a geocaching merit badge! Our local scouts have been working on their geocaching and would love to meet some geocachers. But Scouts are busy doing community service, so why not combine the two! The days community service starts at 10 am at the Trow Hill Playground at the posted coords. From there, the Scouts plan to clean up a 5 mile stretch of road way. We will walk up Hill Street and always turn right until we meet our start point. Our route: Hill St. to Sierra Lavin Rd, to Pierce Rd, to Nuissi Rd to W. Cobble Hill Rd. Anyone with mobility issues is welcome to limit their service to the playground area. Bags will be provided,, but extras are often needed. Bring your own gloves. This is a kid friendly event! We hope you can make it to our clean up!
