Geocache Description:

Dun Deardail is a hill of about 1000ft elevation, the summit of which is the site of a stone age vitrified fort. The outline of the fort can still be seen. It is an ancient monument and must not be degraded in any way. As expected, the views are spectacular. Well worth the short diversion off the West Highland Way.
The cache is located on the steep slope of Dun Deardail to the South (opposite side to the approach path), about 40 metres from the rim of the fort. Take care descending!

The cache container is a snap-shut type plastic box. Please take care to replace the lid effectively (i.e. "snap" it shut) to prevent the ingress of moisture.
